But as a pastor who h...These words are challenging. But as a pastor who has worked with teens for more than 15 years (and still loves it!), I feel he (Tim) is a bit melodramatic. But perhaps the teens I have worked with are different than his experience. MOST teens I know aren't even asking questions about God and life. At least not to adults. So to say pastors and parents are ignoring their questions seems misdirected. Much could be said about this, but suffice it to say that most adults have lost their voice with teens. Teens won't even ask questions unless they really believe the adult cares for them and is listening. It seems the problem goes deeper that merely ignoring questions. Adults need to be pursuing relationships with teens first. Then, if all the moons are aligned, they MAY begin to ask some hard questions. Then, because those adults care, they will answer them.
