I'm older than dirt and still need these (and more). When I served with the 11th Armored Cavalry in Vietnam, the mantra was "stay alert, stay alive." Applies. It is very freeing to know that all my interactions with students are recorded. I know everyone can't afford this kind of thing, but it might be something to work toward even one in your office.

Just a thought.Brett Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06084117040397364233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1735040292604331611.post-65848244595340948042012-04-10T09:21:26.633-04:002012-04-10T09:21:26.633-04:00Derek and Rob. . . good stuff.Derek and Rob. . . good stuff.Walt Muellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16502588185280592205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1735040292604331611.post-84413738800043837002012-04-10T09:20:19.056-04:002012-04-10T09:20:19.056-04:00Thanks Walt. It was sad that we finally had to add this to our accountability for our youth ministry, but inevitable. of course there are ways to meet with youth in public settings or office areas that are well used.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12363325415045483806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1735040292604331611.post-59212302929598968282012-04-10T08:52:30.366-04:002012-04-10T08:52:30.366-04:00This is a solid list. The need to be constantly connected relationally can turn into some sort of complex that leads a person to believe they are needed at all times. Of course we like to be needed, but truthfully, these students need Jesus far more. Can a lack of time boundaries actually hinder the ministry? It certainly does. Especially when you look at your own family an see them being neglected.Derek Manskerhttp://nothrowaways.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
