I myself am challenged especially as a youth pastor, who is pressured by parents for bigger numbers, to avoid exploiting the entertainment/smooth talk and flattery Christianese for numbers sake. The biggest challenge is how to balance the fun with biblical substance when my older teens who should be the leaders are avoiding youth group because there aren't enough games (out of two hours of youth group I have a good hour and a half of games).
